The TerraLift Solution.
In a few hours, years of life can be added to your septic system, providing a fast, safe, and relatively inexpensive solution to your septic field problem.
Utilizing advanced, highly engineered equipment, the soil around the septic trench is penetrated with a long, narrow probe, pneumatically driven to a depth of three to six feet, depending upon the depth of the leach field. High-pressure air is then forced into the ground, at a controllable rate, fracturing the soil. This process creates a network of fissures and cracks which breaks up the biological material that has accumulated in the trench, and loosens the compacted soil in the septic field. Simultaneously, non-biodegradable polystyrene beads are injected into the cracks and fissures created by the aeration procedure, thus assuring that the passages will remain open for the proper percolation of the septic trenches. The operation is repeated along the leach field trenches.
Once the procedure has been completed, proper long-term absorption and drainage of the leach field trenches is maintained and a healthy environment restored.
Septic systems deal with “waste”. Many homeowners, understandably, don’t like to think about waste or the system that disposes of it. That’s why all too many systems fail.
A septic system consists of a septic tank and a leach field. The tank is the first stop for the various effluents that come out of the pipes of the home. Once in the tank, the material sorts itself out into various stratification’s with the help of naturally occurring aerobic and anaerobic bacteria. It then leaves the tank through pipes and enters the leach field area where it is naturally absorbed.
Sometimes this process breaks down. There are several warning signs that indicate potential problems; odor, slow drainage in the home, soggy field, standing water, and the need to frequently pump the septic tank.
In the past the only solution has been to replace the leach field once the soil has become hard and compacted or soggy and saturated, at great cost and destruction of your yard and landscaping. We now can offer the Terra Lift system, which will restore the absorption capacity of the leach field.
Terra Lift’s leach field rejuvenation method had several advantages over traditional fixes. First, it’s less expensive! Costing approximately half of the price of a new leach field. Second, it’s less expensive! No re-landscaping is necessary after the procedure. Third, it takes hours, not days. No down time, no equipment blocking your property, no mud and no mess!
How can septic problems be avoided altogether? First, when purchasing a home, make sure you have the septic system thoroughly check out. We then recommend having your system inspected every 3 to 5 years to maintain the integrity of your leach field. |
